Looking for alternative booking ideas to get your product on people? I come from the natural wellness world and make and take parties are HOT right now! People LOVE to learn how to use essential oils and other more natural products in their homes. Turn that into a great workshop where you charge them to come and make items to take home (we charge $15 to make 4 projects) and you get to edu-tain them at the same time by teaching them to make the recipes/projects and talk about your company at the same time! Sooooo easy and a great way to introduce your business and product line to people who might not otherwise know about it.
Does a workshop like this generate orders? Not a ton, mostly the pre-ordering of oil supplies, etc for the projects. But what is does do it help you get bookings and new team members. I look at it like doing a booth at a vendor event, except I would rather spend 2 hrs with 20 people who are interested in my product category than spend 8 hours at a booth with 200 people walking by me. It is a choice! 🙂
